Welcome! |
The Breezy Point Catholic Club Pipes & Drums was founded in July 2001 by Terrence Williams and James Adams and hails from Breezy Point in Rockaway, New York. *Our kilt is the New York City Tartan - with blue for the water, green for the parks and 2 black pinstripes in memory of 9/11, was first worn by Sean Connery in support of Marie Curie Foundation for Cancer Care. *The band has won many awards, including First Place Pipe & Drum Band in the Rockaway St. Patrick's Parade, & Best New Pipe Band in the Pearl River St. Patrick's Day Parade 2005. |
Who We Are. |
*Our organization consists of men, women and children from 8 to 60 years old. The Breezy Point Catholic Club Pipes and Drums Band awards an annual scholarship to a young member who has shown outstanding ability and dedication. *We take pride in our Celtic heritage and recently traveled abroad to Scotland to perform at Pipefest in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh with 10,000 pipes and drums to support cancer awareness. |
